Leafshade goes out hunting with Stormcloud soon after it begins to rain. The weather rapidly worsens, and when they are near the Windclan border, they try to come back to camp. However, it is raining so much that they cannot see where they are going, and Leafshade falls and gets separated from Stormcloud. She hides in a hollow tree until the storm lightens up, at which point she returns to the camp with an injured shoulder. Cinderheart sees her entering camp and helps her inside of the warriors den, where Leafshade is dismayed to find from Hollytuft that Stormcloud has not returned. She volunteers to join a rescue patrol, but is told to remain in camp and rest. Plumfur goes to find Alderheart to help with her shoulder.
